Photography is Poetry

As a native of Coachella Valley, my journey into photography began at a young age when I first picked up a disposable camera at a wedding. Through the challenges of my youth, including the hurdles of a turbulent childhood and the trials of homelessness, photography was more than just a hobby—it was my refuge, my constant source of inspiration, and the lens through which I found beauty in the world around me.

My passion was nurtured and strengthened through the support of local youth organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club of Cathedral City. It was here that I began to channel my energy into volunteer work, honing my skills in both videography and photography. Each moment behind the camera has been a lesson in perseverance, and with every click of the shutter, I’ve grown closer to mastering my craft.

Today, I am proud to say that this passion has evolved into a  career. My dedication to photography is matched only by my commitment to telling the stories of the people and places I capture. Whether I’m working on a large-scale project or an intimate portrait session, my goal is to create images that resonate, evoke emotion, and capture the essence of the moment.

Despite the obstacles I’ve faced, I’ve learned that resilience and determination can turn challenges into opportunities.
